No these are existing leases.

Drove to OC from Carroll County today via Delaware and came home via Rte. 50 in MD. Almost every station in both states were right at $4.59, a couple at $4.57. No Joe, I didn't see any price gouging whatsoever. They were all within 2 cents per gallon. You did that you jackass.

You got these independent owned gas stations all in cahoots. Them and Royal Farms,Wawa and the such. All of them conniving and plotting in the backrooms on how to stick it to the common man. Now Biden wants to come in on his white horse and price fix which will only cause rationing in the future.

Profit margin for the guy who owns the gas station are pretty slim. I'd be more concerned with the people up stream being in cahoots.

Refiners or traders. Oil itself is a commodity, and gas stations only have a couple cents of margin per gallon. Therefore, you're either looking at oil refiners or traders as the links in between.

To elaborate, I don't actually think there's a price fixing scheme, but suggesting it's the gas station operators driving the price up is absurd.

Traders is not the correct word, it's speculators. The price moves up or down on how these people view things. If there's a tropical storm in the gulf heading to the oil rigs or refineries they bet on the price bumping because of it.
