Pleasantly surprised. Was preparing myself for a cancelled season. Thought the owners had accumulated sufficient revenue to make the sacrifice in order to break the players’ union.

It is still unclear to me whether or not the 2022 season will be played under the old framework - especially the pre-established schedule.
