Re: Lamar Jackson trade rumors
I was just about to make this thread, but I had a totally separate Jackson trade rumor video to post. Looks like a couple teams have called. Check it out:

Re: Lamar Jackson trade rumors
Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

Re: Lamar Jackson trade rumors
Is this stemming from the RSR article linked there I guess? I couldn't watch the video.

Last week the reliable Barstool Banks insinuated in an article that the Ravens have some things going on behind the scenes that would make your head spin. He wasn’t specific and I’m beginning to understand why. Since BB’s post on Barstool, I’ve had a few things shared with me that at this point, I’ll file under “educated speculation”. And at the center of much of it is Lamar Jackson.
Lamar has been nothing short of a breath of fresh air since his arrival in Baltimore. He’s been an outstanding player, great teammate, selfless and accountable. But some things don’t add up including Lamar’s late season regression, the lack of any contractual movement and, despite the criticisms, the decision to retain Greg Roman as the team’s OC.
Rumors have recently surfaced that the Ravens 1) may consider a potential trade for Lamar and, 2) that some of his off-the-field behaviors may have contributed to the former MVP’s disappointing 2021. But they are just that – rumors. So I get why Banks was measured in his recent article. That said, the Lamar contract situation deserves close attention. Any unusual developments could be signs that there’s merit to the educated speculation.back on twitter
"Well that was an appropriate last ride for Pees. A Bengals WR streaking in for a game winning touchdown in the closing minutes is the man’s preferred medium to express his art." - GreenWave52

Re: Lamar Jackson trade rumors
Honestly I’d be absolutely shocked if this happens. It’s anything from some bullshit someone made up to the Ravens trying to leak something to scare Jackson into extending. Non story IMO

Re: Lamar Jackson trade rumors
He didn’t say anything bad. He was just like “gro has been great for us but the FO makes the decision on him.”
Listen to around the 9:40 mark.

Very different from 3 years ago when he was telling other teams to chill when they were looking to hire Roman away from us.
Here’s Lamar’s interview. They ask about Roman at the 4:00 mark

Re: Lamar Jackson trade rumors
Lamar Jackson is the Ravens biggest star since Ray Lewis and Ed Reed. No disrespect to Huntley, but the entire team is transformed when Lamar is playing. There's no way they are trading him. Sounds like someone needs something talk about in the offseason.
