When you have a QB like Brady or Rodgers the goal should be doing what it takes to make the Super Bowl and not wasting a first round pick on a backup QB.
The last time the Packers used a 1st round pick on an offensive skill position player was 2005 when they drafted Aaron Rodgers. It's really crazy when you look at it. There were only 1 or 2 during the Brett Favre era as well. It's like they have some sort of anti-offensive skill position mandate for the team.

Devante in 2014 was the last time they even used a 2nd rounder on a WR, even though that's the sweet spot for drafting them. They've just expected Rodgers to make chicken salad.

    Asking for a friend.
Aaron Rodgers is old. He has Davante Adams but could only put up 10 points. He was sacked 5 times. If he was with Baltimore it would have been 9 sacks.

Here’s a notion: Brady retires and Rogers replaces him in Tampa.

But seriously folks, Packers would be fools not to persuade Aaron to return for one more season. Most likely they’re in the Super Bowl IF their special teams doesn’t self-destruct.

Who cares about Davante Adams when you're about to go to a team that has Binjimin Victor.

I think that marriage has run its course at this point. Too many postseason failures. What's the definition of insanity? Oh yeah. Time for a change for both parties and that does not by any means indicate that Jordan Love is the answer.

Word is Rodgers stayed a few days after the season to discuss some issues with coaches/mgmt prior to leaving for off season

On the Titans' fan forum, reports of Rodgers buying land in Nashville or Franklin (to build a house) and "being open" to playing for the Titans.

If the Titans land Rodgers, we should take a close look at Ben Jones (C) in FA.

The Titans should pay up; Tannehill is garbage.

Those housing rumors constantly pop up. You see rumors that a star athlete is either buying becoming or selling because he's going all the time. Somehow I doubt that the land around Nashville is so valuable that Rodgers would have to buy it before a deal is made. It's just more wishful thinking from pissed off fans.

Rodgers is about the same a Tannehill in the playoffs. He's been there more but they're both about 50/50

    Re: Aaron Rodgers

Tannehill would cost almost $19 million against the cap to cut or trade. The Titans are $7 million over the cap already. It sure looks like they are stuck with him for another year. In 2023 they can save a lot of money by getting rid of Tannehil. That's a lot more likely.
