OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- The Baltimore Ravens are nearing a contract extension with coach John Harbaugh, a source said Tuesday.

Team officials are currently in talks with Harbaugh's agent, and an extension should get completed in a few weeks, the source said.

Lol, nothing will ever change as long as the owner is friends with his employees. I new it was coming soon as they let wink go. They’d be fire wink with 1 year left for the golden boy.

I’m not saying fire Harbaugh, but he needs to earn that extension next season after this year even after factoring for injuries.

It’s a problem when the boss becomes friends with the employees.

People bitched about billick losing the locker room, allowing players too much freedom.

The owner is doing just this with Harbaugh now.

The proper question is can we do better and I think we could. Lots of guys could make the playoffs 4 times in 9 seasons and win one game.
