I'm not sure about my favorite, but my least favorite collapse was the 21 Ravens.

Of course when we are talking about greatest team collapses of all time regardless of sport, I still have to go with the 2011 Red Sox.

I’m gonna tell my kids this is when the Orioles won the World Series:

Forgot about that. Also on the list and in that episode. Spotted them a 14-0 lead and then J Lew took over from there. An incredibly entertaining game.

Buck actually credits this as the catalyst that turned things around for the Orioles

I would say Indy this year was much worse than us. In 2 weeks they went from the team absolutely no one wants to play in the postseason to no even being there

And Jonathan Taylor's odds to win MVP two weeks ago was very high and now I don't see any chance of him placing first in MVP voting.

Since we've pivoted to baseball, the Yankees 2004 collapse vs the Red Sox was pretty brutal. They were up 3 game to 0 in a 4 games series, and they had a lead headed into the 9th inning of game 4. Red Sox won the series.

I'm not sure if this qualifies as a collapse, but the Bills losing 4 Super Bowls in a row is a pretty epic string of failures.

    '69 Cubs

The '69 Cubs were a team loaded with future Hall of Famers that somehow managed to blow a nine-game lead in the final two months of the season to the "Amazin' Mets."

Is this season or game...because I was an Oilers fan as a kid and nothing frustrated/angered me more than that infamous 35-3 blown lead to the Bills in the playoffs. Nothing has ever come close.
Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.
