    United States of Venezuela

Was at the Giant this morning and couldn't help but shake my head and think #Bareshelvesbiden is really going to stick.

Felt like I was at a poorly run convenience store. Except it wasn't a convenience store it was my country.

The poorly run part is right on the money.

I don't blame Biden for the pandemic. Act of god and all that. But these people are focused on shit no one cares about and not even getting that right. So tone deaf. And patting themselves on the back for sucking at their jobs.

It's been going on for sometime. Just don't tell a democrat about it, they'll tell you their local stores are fully stocked.

Yup. This is why me and the Mrs moved to a farm. Stores down here in De and Md are raped. People waiting for the guys to put shit out and snatch it. Crazy.

Find yourself a good butcher fellas. Might wanna start a Victory Garden this spring too. Learn how to can. Shits only gonna get worse.

It's not poorly run, it's on purpose.

While your not wrong on the “on purpose “ point ….it’s still being poorly run. And it’s trickling down to individual states and Cities being poorly run also.

Again …yes done with a purpose …but the fact is we’re in a world of shit governmentally.

But but but Mayor Pothole Pete just saved Christmas. He did a victory dance and a big speech about it and everything. According to socialists breadlines are the bomb baby.

Sure. They all live in the most affluent areas of the country and shop at Whole Foods.

Folks better start networking with their local farmers.

Yes Sir. This spring buying 2 angus steers calves. Add them to my 30 or so chickens , freezer full of venison and I’m pretty good to go. Local farmer than grows corn on 6 of my acres is wanting to pay me in pork. lol don’t eat that much pork but …maybe trade land for Bacon!

Already on it. The folks we buy meat from are becoming good friends and our kids play together. My wife loves gardening so I'm ahead of most but not quite fully where we want to be.

There are several family butchers in easy driving distance from Baltimore. I recommend patronizing them, as they raise and butcher their own cattle.
My trip to Giant in Abingdon last night was a ridiculous waste of time, as 75% of the meat department was empty, and there wasn't a single egg to be found in the dairy section.

Sounds like the Mrs will have a job this spring/ summer. She can sell off some of these eggs and veggies she grows.

Gotta start making beer I guess to go along with the moonshine.

All you guys talking about growing your own food, raising chickens and the like have great plans. If/when the shit really, really hits the fan, just remember to be ready, willing and able to defend it 24/7. Planting seeds, growing a garden, livestock, etc. is certainly a plan. Make sure it's a well thought out one. If you think for a minute that a man w/a hungry, starving family will hesitate for even a second to take you on to feed them, well......remember, 24/7. The buzzards will be eating just fine, I'm guessing.
