Interesting. I'm hoping the booster stuff calms down from this every 6 months crap. Haven't seen much push in my age bracket yet though.

So has anyone noticed that recently all of the people that were the most afraid of COVID are all getting on airplanes?

Does anyone else find that odd, or just me?

If someone was actually afraid of catching the disease, I would think getting on a ring capsule full of shared air while cases and earths are currently massively up down the most vaccinated would seem scary, but who am I to say…

That was the headline of todays local news broadcast. But it’s not nearly as twisted as Blaze makes it out to be.

Roos is rather obscure here and only holds his seat because by law even the most obscure political parties can hold seats (kind of like how Nazi’s have a voice still in Germany, now called the NPD). His party, JA21, holds only three seats out of 150 in the Dutch parliament.

Roos is exaggerating the issues of Omicron and twists it to apply to the Alpha and Delta strains. The only thing Pfizer did wrong was terrible messaging when the vaccine was first released.

The Dutch healthcare system (RIVM), by and large, sucks ass. When the pandemic hit we took our advice from the University of Leiden and from my wife’s employer (a global healthcare company). There were times their advice countered what the govt was saying.

As an aside, as an American living in the EU looking at America’s handling of Covid from the outside, it’s was bonkers. The CDC did a horrific job as getting info out to people. I’m stunned nobody lost their job. Also, no other country managed to turn a virus into a political statement. I am blessed we were here for the pandemic and not in the US. We have our anti-vaxxers too but there’s no rhyme or reason to their politics.

How is this news? This was publicly known information when it was released.

It was NEVER supposed to limit transmission, it was AlWAYS symptom control only.

Yeah, that’s what I don’t understand too. Not many vaccines out there flat out stop transmission. Even vaccine like polio dont do much to prevent transmission.
