Chiefs fans beginning to have buyer's remorse

So true. Since when is any public team not everyone's business? I just think about all the posts on every board about Tom Brady over the past 20 years. Many years ago there used to be boards with different forums for each team. There was a tons of cross talk which was great a separate smack boards to keep things civil. Sometimes I miss that concept but it did take tons of moderation which is why I think it went away

Ever post on MaddenMania? Mainly was for the game, but had a great NFL and OT board. You had all the fans of different teams converged in one place just collectively talking about things. You got to know a lot about other teams from it, had rivalries between posters/fans of different teams, etc. For primetime games you had all the fans of different teams watching together posting about it, really gave you a different perspective you don't get from a board like this where it's 99% fans of one team. I'll always remember this guy that went by jamesinmadison who was a Vikings fan that REALLY hated Billick. When the Ravens drafted Suggs he was SO sure he'd amount to nothing, or maybe a pass rush specialist type at best. Never got the chance to give him shit in return since the board folded around the mid 00s. Was real neat and a lot of great memories I'm not sure where you'd get that today. Operation Sports? Maybe Reddit but that's so impersonal compared to a board.

The most interesting thing about this is that they linked this thread on their forum. We now have 1 big circle where we start linking them and they return by linking us. Both fan bases are going to point to the other without even directly communicating.

I had a look. I'm not sure whether the Cheifs fanbase as a whole is stupid or if that's just a particularly stupid board but their responses and takes on the Ravens were moronic. They didn't even mention scrambled eggs once.

My everyone knows that scrambled egg fact of the day is that Yesterday was originally called Scrambled Eggs before McCartney ruined it.
