It's not making sense because you are leaving out the owners. GMs these days need approval for moves involving the head coach and a lot of other moves. It's very possible that Stephen Ross bought into Grier's argument but Shad Khan has now heard enough from Baalke that he just wanted him out. It all comes down to the organization. The in Seattle and Denver for example where a trust owns the team are not the same for Dallas and Cincinnati where the owner is also the GM

Nah Gota, check BlackBeak's previous post. I was talking about that - didn't know if they had the franchises mixed up or were trying to draw some other comparison. I intentionally left the owners out of the convo. But yes, both Ross and Khan are shit owners.
