Ode to Jelly
Gonna sing the praises for an unsung hero, Justin Ellis.
There were calls to cut him. He gets dissed because he is not a pressure DT. Well he’s a backup nose tackle. He’s a space eater who lives to hold the line on a double team. He’s a damn working man who does his job, takes his extra portion of shit for it, and wakes up the next day and does it again.
This week, Baby was out and he had to take 40 snaps against a double teaming, run heavy offense with no backup NT.
Last week he squished Kelce in the end zone 30 yards downfield, and this week he scared the bejesus out of Jared Goff while threatening to catch him in the open field.
I see you Jelly. Way to do your job.

Re: Ode to Jelly
Is that his nickname? Whenever I think "Jelly" Lionel Dalton always comes to mind but he was "Jelly Roll".
My kids call Ellis "Cheeseburger".

Re: Ode to Jelly
There was a play in the 4th quarter where his huge ass came busting through the line and he had direct pressure on Goff but he could not slow his own momentum to change direction. He looked like the Juggernaut in Xmen 3 just nothing was getting in his way.
That would have been a monster hit had he gotten to goff
