Travis Kelce vs Mark Andrews: Andy Reid Suceeds at Where John Harbaugh Fails

Links to Kelce designed plays against the Browns:

Why can't the Ravens design plays for Mark Andrews like the Chiefs do for Kelce?

Different player, different scheme, different philosophy. You shouldn't even be saying Andrews and Kelce in the same sentence. How we use Andrews is hardly the problem right now.

Kelce is way better than Andrews but that's nothing new. Andrews is still good if not a little frustrating.

I tried to be positive but the truth has been revealed.

What truth? That Kelce is better than Andrews?

Mark is the 3rd highest paid tight end behind Kelce and Kittle. Gotta produce more receiving yards than a running back off the practice squad.

I know you're "simple," but surely you understand the way NFL salaries work, right? Last man in the position group wins per skill-tier - until the next "last man."

Unless you're arguing we shouldn't have extended Andrews at all which, y'know, is one opinion.

Using that logic Kittle is the 2nd highest paid yet he produced only 4 catches for 78 yards and allowed the ball to bounce off his helmet during an onside kick. Gotta produce more than that for the money they are paying him.

Andy Reid has always run a pass heavy offense with a much better passer at QB. It also helps that Tyreek Hill is a problem if you double Kelce.

Mahomes 3rd pass option with 97 yards in his first game with Lamar Jackson in spite of a trash right tackle. Stanley was bad at left tackle as well. Hollywood Brown with 67 yards. That pass to Watkins was as good as any quarterback can make. Don't worry, when Lamar goes to another team we can get back to running a field goal offense.

78 yards is great for a tight end. I want Andrews to average 45 to 50 yards a game. 20 yards is abysmal!

29 total targets in an overtime game is not enough passing. LJ is streaky at times. Missed five in a row last night. But his passing game will struggle for ever as long as he is limited like this. He needs to be in a fast tempo passing game. His two minute offense is excellent and his slow plodding game is not.
