Per our boy Filmstudy, Lamar had good protection on exactly 7 dropbacks

7/7 for 133 Yards with ATS, 19.0 YPP.

    Stop drafting receivers.

They chipped at least 6 times in the 2nd half, Richard did help AV on some of those and the pocket was clean when we did. The problem is the non-chip snaps stand out more.

If only they had a guy on the squad who was desperate to play LT... Oh yeah, they traded him. At least they have a guy who used to play LT.

Chip and let Lamar air it out, he looked pretty good when he had time and wasn't in the middle of a swarm.

“One of the things we have to do,” DeCosta said, “is get better up front with pass protection.”

Indeed, for all the other issues facing a passing attack that ranked last in the league — and Jackson’s accuracy and the impact of receivers are valid concerns — DeCosta knows it all starts up front. When the GM speaks like that, it’s clear that the offensive line, specifically the interior line, stands near the top of any list of needs this offseason.

Ravens OC Greg Roman said the team knows it needs to be better with pass protection on the edge. "It's just really a technique thing. I think we were late off the ball a few times and it really affected us. The crowd noise had an effect on a few of them."
There you have it folks. The old "technique issue" excuse that someone here makes fun of them for saying all the time. Lol.

We used to make the pass rusher count to 3
    One Mississippi
    Two Mississippi
    Three

Think other teams would do that for the Ravens?

I was actually counting this in my head while watching the game -- Carr nearly always had 3 Mississippi, Lamar rarely. When Lamar did, good things happened.

Could have Kept OBJr and still drafted Oweh. OBJr at this point would have played the first two games of the season at LT for the Ravens imo and it doesnt seem like a stretch a few more or even they could give Stanley more time, the time he actually requires which could be like another 3 weeks or more. It seemed so ballsy at the time to let a guy that plays those positions and for the price leave given LT #1 injury status.. Things he was writing on social media mean nothing he would have played and played hard for the Ravens this year at whatever position.

Worst part is lamar is 100% ready to come out and drop 80/300+ games on teams for 17 games and not get worn out at doing it if they had a top Oline. If Ronnie is out for like 6+ weeks now Lamar Jacksons prime is in fact being wasted and whats worse his progress as a QB as hes clearly ready, willing and able to play from the pocket 1st

    But yeah, I agree.

Maybe Alejandro will be a little better at LT the spot he’s played his entire career.
why is it that AV could be moved, but Zeitler can't?

I'd like to try Zeitler LG, Ben Cleveland RG.
