    That was hilarious, lol.

And why do I keep picturing Zack Galifianakis as the coach now?

I remember the days when I played High School football, we were not allowed to drink water until the team was told to take a water break. I also remember, not too fondly, the "bull in the ring" drill. My how things have changed. Now when I walk the track in my neighborhood, the high school team has a boom box blasting and players individually taking water breaks. Very little hitting. Very different these days, but most for good reasons, especially the water breaks. FWIW, that high school team has never been very good record wise. .

I wrestled in high school for three years. The varsity coach we had was literally like being in boot camp. No shit.

We had County Fair in college which was an offseason conditioning program. Eight or nine different stations with a puke bucket (big gray garbage can) set up at each. Start at 5:30 in the morning for two straight weeks. Only time in my life I can remember having six-pack abs was after County Fair.

A buddy of mine and I ran into each other at a local restaurant where she's eating with her boyfriend, a Marine. We're chatting for a bit and she says, "Hey, you always said County Fair was horrible. I saw it this morning and it didn't look that bad." Her boyfriend asked if I played for Wallace, who had left for another job a couple of years earlier. After I said yeah, he turned back to her and said, "I don't think you understand. The Marines are not allowed to do to us what Wallace did to them". I was both proud and a little sad.
