  1. Wokeness in America

Good article on all the bullshit of wokeness. It gives me a bit of hope to see so many people tuning out of it all. As much as the wife and I love the Olympics, we've tuned out of it for the most part, recording the little bit we want to watch, fast forwarding through all the commercials, etc. and just watch as little as we can.

When bill Maher is staying things that make sense, you know things have gone too far

Yeah, I guess, but the man is a dickhead. He just says shit to try and stay relevant. One days he's this, the next day he's that. I get your point, though.

Maher's show cant exist if people arent allowed to speak.

His show is literally named Politically Incorrect.

If half his guests are cancelled his show is just another partisan idealogical silo/circle jerk.

I think one of the reason the left increasingly hates capitalism so much is that no matter what level of control or infiltration into mainstream american sports entertainment institutions the current obnoxious woke (cultural Marixst, politically correct etc. call it what you want) ideology achieves capitalism is a marketplace driven by choice. The assumption is people won't change the channel turn off the TV but they are. In droves.

Could be something going on with me but I have a hard time watching anything on TV anymore. It's not interesting, is too formulaic, too propagandistic, too predictable, too obnoxious. I almost exclusively stream now. Youtube history, off grid videos, builder videos, long form discussions etc.. I'm hoping Rumble ends up with more better content eventually as youtube is obviously part of the google douchebag universe but there is still diversity of thought and politically neutral content on it.

We just got a record player. I'm trying to track down the master quality pressing of it.
