Where does this rank with WR's in the league over the past two seasons?

Hollywood is the #1 until Bateman shows something. I just hope he and Watkins are good enough outside to where Hollywood can spend most of his days in the slot.

Agreed, I like this answer. Until Bateman does in the NFL Hollywood the WR1 on the depth chart. I think they'll both be good and I won't care about which one is considered better.

Who was the #1 in San Fran in 2013 when they had a decent Crabtree and Boldin? It seemed pretty even between then two... maybe that's what happens here with Bateman and Hollywood

If Tylan Wallace turns out to be a huge steal and plays well from day 1 and Bateman is as advertised.... do we look at possibly trading Hollywood next year? *ducks*

I’m not sure I really get this #1/#2 stuff. I’d rather have a WR room full of quality options that are able to cause real confusion on every play that results in us gaining yardage.
On the 3rd and 7 example, it’s fair to go into the play with a plan... “it’s coming to you...” but, if coverage looks hot and both guys then there’s gaps elsewhere so change the play, hand it off and gain the yards through a run.
I’d rather have 3/4 WRs finish the season with 7/800 yards when that season ends at the SB than have 1 WR end with 1200, the rest with 400 and get knocked out in the wildcard round again

Why does it matter? We will have guys out in patterns, throw to the one that gets open.
