Re: Browns offseason
They were an excllent team last year, and they had a solid offseason. I think they're going to be real trouble.
They have a slightly easier schedule than we do. Fourteen of our games are common (incl two against each other), but the other three games are:
Ravens Brownies Indy Houston Miami Pats Rams Cards
It's not a huge difference. But I have Miami/Pats as basically a wash, and Indy/Rams > Texans/Cards. In a potentially tight divisional race, a couple games can make a big difference.
We gotta take care of business this year, if we want to make the postseason.

Re: Browns offseason
On paper they have a team that should go deep into the playoffs.
But...it's the Browns.

Re: Browns offseason
Have to give them some respect after what they did to the Steelers in the playoffs, and they played KC pretty competitively as well. Of course they’ll go as far as Mayfield takes them, but you can say that about the QB for pretty much every playoff team.
Their thing is losing players to season ending injuries before the season even starts. Don’t see why they shouldn’t be a playoff team again capable of making some noise provided their roster stays mostly intact over the summer.

Re: Browns offseason
It's all about health. If the Browns are healthy they're loaded.
Look at the secondary ;
Cornerbacks: Denzel Ward, Greedy Williams, Greg Newsome, MJ Stewart
Safeties: John Johnson, Grant Delpit, Ronnie Harrison, Richard LaCounte
That's as good on paper as most in the NFL. They aren't experienced but the talent level is very high. They have good o-line, good receiving corp, solid TE group. 2 stud running backs. QB is 'meh' but he's got so much talent around him that he's going to be okay.
This is a good Browns team if they can stay healthy

Re: Browns offseason
A few savvy trades and years of drafting at the top of the round they finally have a deep roster poised to make a deep run. But until they prove otherwise I'm not scared of them. One thing is certain, both games against them will be dogfights and the division is either there for the Ravens or Browns to take.

Re: Browns offseason
The division will come down to us or them, the Steelers will still compete but with old af Ben they will be 3rd, with the Bengals a more formidable 4th. Should be a hell of a competitive division for years to come. As a fan I wouldn't have it any other way.

Re: Browns offseason
That's how I see it to. Slight edge to Browns due to schedule (two easier games), unless 2019 Lamar returns and we go back to lighting up the scoreboard like a pinball machine.
I don't mind a cakewalk in the division.
Like the Pats had for ~20 years.
