Ravens QB Room and Depth Chart

It certainly is nice to know who your starting QB will be for the foreseeable future. And it looks like Huntley has an edge on the back-up job this year, but McSorley is a competitor. Should be a good competition in camp if McSorley is fully recovered from his injury.

Most teams have 4 QBs for training camp. Any word on bringing in a 4th camp QB? No! Not RGIII!

Who wins the backup job after training camp?

Do the Ravens keep the 3rd QB on the active roster or stash him on the PS?

Fun Question: Last year Willie Sneed was our emergency QB. Is it Sam Koch this year? That would be too funny seeing our punter running the triple option.

I genuinely like Trace far more than Huntley.

I'd say we go with two and keep someone on PS due to other positional depth.

I’m totally fine with whoever they want at backup QB

I have no idea who wins it honestly, but given what other positions look like, I think they just keep 2 this year. I'd probably lean Huntley but no telling until we see how each guy has improved in camp.

If I recall Huntley looked pretty decent in what time he got in the Buffalo game. 6/13 for 60 and 32 rushing yards on 3 attempts. Just missed a TD down the right sideline. I can't imagine the back up job isn't his to lose.

At the very least I feel better having Huntley or McSorely backing up Lamar over RG3 this year. I don't know what RG3 looked like in practice last year, but he had no business being on the field starting against the Steelers. RG3 was barely capable of completing a pass that was more than a few yards.

I would take McSorley over Huntley any day of the week

So far, in very limited playing time, neither Huntley nor Mc Sorely has distinguished himself.
Camp/Pre-Season will separate the two. I don't think by much though... Bc

Heard they are looking at signing John Beck and Cleo Lemon to compete
