Re: Ravens Sign Alejandro Villaneuva to a 2-year Deal
Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

AV has much better length and size than Leno. Could Leno make down blocks on a consistent basis in this offense ? Idk about that.

This contract isn’t even close to a scale that could hurt us. If it’s an overpay it’s incredibly slight, and if we want out after this year there’s minimal dead money.

Re: Ravens Sign Alejandro Villaneuva to a 2-year Deal
Is this for real?
Its really fascinating to me to find someone worried about Biscotti's money
Forbes valuation of Ravens Franchise - $2.98 billion
The Ravens are No. 33 overall in Forbes magazine's annual ranking of the world's most valuable sports teams, with a $2.98 billion valuation. The franchise's value has grown 54% in the past five years, according to the business publication.
I guess saving that extra couple of million would put the Ravens over $3 Billion next year
