Instant Reactions to EDC's Draft!!

Disappointed. I have followed the "In Ozzie and EDCC I trust" mantra. But EDC will need to earn my trust next year. Bunch of guys that won't make the team, fodder. 1st pick is for a position we don't value, and that was the best pick! Oweh is questionable as there seemed better options after him, and they could have traded back for an extra 2nd/rd. How many interior lineman are we gonna draft before one actually wins the job! No OT taken, not even a developmental one. No third TE, no Safety -- and there were solid options available.

I hope I'm wrong. What are your thoughts?

Since they got Oweh, I'm good.

Often those front office people don't get the players you want.

I like Oweh a bunch, and the other players, well, they're fine, there would be more discussion of specifics.

Hard to argue with you at this point. On paper it's a giant WTF to me, but I'm going to tell myself that EDC and crew know way more than I do and hope for the best.

Don't like the picks
Bateman is supposed to be the big physical receiver yet he is 6' nothing and 190 lbs ??
Plus he played on a bad team which means that most of his production came in blowout games with the defense either in prevent or playing scrubs or both.

Oweh is a classic skills but no game linebacker. The Ravens smarter than everyone else syndrome on display as they think they can take a guy with weak production on the football field and turn him into a player.

RB's playing corner, Wade a guy that should have been available as an undrafted free agent
A bunch of projects, not a solid can't miss contributor in the entire draft.

They drafted 2 CBS who are projected to play safety. They have TEs coming off IR. They apparently like their options at RT. And they wanted an impact WR; I thought everyone knew that after they went after FAs. Oweh could be a home run or a bust, more likely something in between.
