So Terrelle Pryor is going to get signed and play WR next year for the Ravens.

What a terrible Day 2 for the Ravens. Maybe they picked this guy by accident? SMH

Props to @JayVeeThree for pointing him out to me but I've just turned on the tape for SMU CB Brandon Stephens and I'm impressed. Why is nobody talking about this guy?

Don't know anything about him but The Ravens do value versatility in their secondary especially at safety. More speed at the safety position was needed for The Ravens and we shall see how he develops.

Oh that's an interesting point. Yeah maybe.

Hope he turns out to be the next Webb.

That would be a huge departure from the Ravens traditional identity, if true.

I don't buy it yet. So far in this draft:

    • Oweh was 1st-team All B1G. Seems like he already knows some football.

    • Ben Cleveland was a top 125 recruit coming out of HS, and comes out of college 1st-team All-SEC and 3rd-team AP All-American.

It's really just the weird RB/corner hybrid.

Maybe a good player. Let's hope so. But this seems like a poor play of the draft board.
It's weird, because DeCosta on his career has been a really keen judge of where other NFL teams value players. Extracting "value" from the board has been one of his main areas of expertise.

Yeah: I didn't realize there wasn't a thread following up that tweet.

The one thing I'm thinking about is the number of draftable players is supposed to be a lot lower in this draft due to Covid. So maybe the Ravens have tweaked their approach to selecting players this year.
