At what point do we require people to be responsible for their actions and have them deal with the consequences of their choices?

Buying food, or giving them "job training" isn't the answer. They already had access to a free public education and that didn't help.

These concepts are long gone. This is purely a play to stay in power. When 51% of the nation can extract resources from the 49% expect this to get ugly.

C’mon man. You’re supposed to be a Christian. You know as well as I do that there are some people who are stuck in a bad situations. Not all. Not even most. But there are a number of them. All over the country. In FACT I’d bet the number is up because of the stupid shut down.

Again. Not a fan of free money. But viable job training. How to budget classes. Free birth control. These are things that can help and can actually improve everyone’s life. Change these people from being a burden to productive.

This is union mentality. The concept that everyone is the same.

I bet we have less than 1% of working age population that is physically or mentally unable to work to support themselves.

In reality, we have trained/conditioned about 40% of the population that they are not responsible for anything. Depend on the gov to feed them. House them. Gov will tell you how to live. Who to vote for. What news to watch. What to eat. The gov will tell you it isn’t safe to bbq or be in groups.

Imagine how many mind numb robots out there, that will only do what the gov says. Now imagine the life they live.

The dem party has essentially established a large group of modern day slaves. And your mentality is to encourage this. Tell people they can’t do this on their own.

Dam, I hope this is all just an act for you. If you are teaching your kids to depend on others to do everything for them, they will miss out on so many opportunities

Those who can help themselves, some times if not all times the best way to do that is to force them to.

I am ALL for helping people who can't help themselves. It's up to me, my community, my church to take care of those who can't help themselves. NOT the government.

Stop it. These things are ALREADY AVAILABLE to the poor. They aren’t a burden because there isn’t opportunity.

What do my kids have to do with anything? For the record all three are grown , 2 have college degrees and one is an Army Ranger. So my kids turned out just fine thank you. With as bitter as you seem to be ...I’d maybe worry about yours.

Nah, I am teaching my kids the same way I think the gov or state should be managed. Don’t depend on anyone else to take care of you
