Ravens Will Not Draft a WR With Pick 27

Unless the Ravens love what is available at No. 27, I think they'll trade back 7-10 picks and pick up an extra 3rd round pick. But if they stay put, I don't think the pick will be a wide receiver. Here's why...

I totally agree Tony... I wouldn't mind Bateman or Marshall at 27, but would not pick them over guys like Jenkins, Ojulari, Phillips, Paye, etc.

I don't expect any of those guys to last to #27. Ojulari I would say has the best chance but honestly I expect every one of them to be gone by 27.

I'm looking at the decision being between Marshall, Bateman, Leatherwood, Oweh, Moehrig, Newsome, Mayfield, Creed. I do hope that someone unexpected like Barmore or Zaven Collins falls to make it more interesting.

If that turns out to be the case I would go with Moehrig,Oweh or Collins.
Whats the deal with Mayfield after his horrific workouts?

Hi GOTA, out of your list Moehrig, Creed Humphrey, or Z. Collins would satisfy me if EDC could not trade down... Bc

Bateman is the only WR I think they would take at #27... even though Elijah Moore will probably go on to be a Pro Bowler... but hey, they can't evaluate WR talent

I'd go Collins on that list. He can give you some of everything. A combination of Queen, Harrison and Zaven Collins sounds like classic Ravens linebackers from the early 2000s.

I'm not sold on Moehrig. There are a bunch of Safeties who aren't that far off who you can get in round 2 or 3

I like Humphrey a lot but I see him as someone you can trade down into the top half of round 2 and get.

A lot of teams picking late in the first would love to do that every year. If the offer's there, great, but I'm not expecting it to happen. I'm not expecting a WR pick either.

Re: Ravens Will Not Draft a WR With Pick 27

There is a report that Panthers are looking to trade down now that they got their QB. Many years ago we saw the Falcons trade from #27 to #6 with the Browns and take Julio Jones so as big a move as going from #27 to #8 is we've seen an even bigger jump from #27 in the recent past.

Would you trade up to #8? If you did, then who would it be for?

I would for Jamarr Chase. I'd try to include Orlando Brown as part of the package. I'm not sure who else who could fall to #8 that I'd make that trade for but it is interesting to think about

I'm on board. The only guy (within reason) I for sure want at 27 is Jenkins. I'm pretty much trade back on all the other WR and Edge options. Sorry Phillips fans.
