Re: Well we went and pissed off deCosta
Maybe they'll finally have time to achieve Roman's ultimate dream - sending 4 receivers into the same spot.

Yup, you've all done it now.
Ravens draft will consist of 6 defensive tackles and a punter.

Re: Well we went and pissed off deCosta
We have yet to sign any receivers we drafted to a second contract. I would be disappointed too. Hollywood should already be planning his exit.

Re: Well we went and pissed off deCosta
This is technically a misnomer. Chris Moore signed a second contract. Jermaine Lewis was a Baltimore Raven from 1996 – 2001. He was not a 5th Round selection on a six-year deal! He likely would have returned once again, too, yet expansion franchise Houston swooped in and swiped him immediately after selecting Jamie Sharper. Each went 5th & 6th overall in said 2002 expansion draft, respectively, while B'more oddly chose not to protect the maximum of a second player from being taken. Granted, this was during their infamous salary cap purge offseason following their decision to attempt a 2001 repeat Super Bowl run.
Unfortunately, that non-maneuver left them stuck with Lamont Brightful aka "Frightful" for 2 seasons until B.J. Sams' arrival. Both Patrick Johnson & Brandon Stokley eventually returned. Even Mark Clayton was coming back for a sixth season under contract until he became an expendable luxury — thus was traded — once T.J. Houshmandzadeh popped up as a late Summer signing option / addition to be the 3rd WR behind Derrick Mason & newly acquired (via March trade) Anquan Boldin.Last edited by ⋔ 4 ℞ ℞ $; 04-19-2021 at 08:45 PM.
