Since requiring an ID to vote is apparently such a burden I suppose we also need to stop requiring one now for any constitutionally protected right.

We will just go by the honor system now for everything, you know because it works so well for federal elections.

All he was arguing was that a non-driver id should be free. Not that they're too onerous to get.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but state ID’s (ie, non Driver’s licenses) are free.

Probably not.

Volunteering with the youth of the city can help some. Maybe you should go make a difference instead of complaining about poor, black people ruining your community.

The honest answer is culture.

Look at asian americans vs african americans, it's nearly all culture in the family unit. It starts and ends there, gov't can mess it up so much (great society, LBJ) but at the end of the day we need 2 parent households, families who cherish work and sacrifice.
