Thumbs down Re: Obama and the Media

    There's nothing to debate:

Obama = high taxes, homos in the military, environmental whacko policies to destroy the economy, soft on Defense, refuses to Pledge the Allegiance, a Commander-in-Chief to protect us against Moslem terrorists who was brought up in Moslem schools.

I'm astonished that any American citizen would actually plan to vote for Obama.
In a 2003 BBC poll that asked Brits to name the "Greatest American Ever", Mr. T came in fourth, behind ML King (3rd), Abe Lincoln (2nd) and Homer Simpson (1st).

    Re: Obama and the Media

When did I say I was on the left? I am independent and frankly the only thing I'm worried about in this election is Hillary Clinton being elected President. That carpetbagger must not go anywhere near the White House.

McCain is a whacko old man who wants to put us at war for the next 100 years, so Obama is the least of all the remaining evils to me.

My candidate this year was Ron Paul.

    Re: Obama and the Media

Clinton wins PA...honestly, I liked the comparison someone made this week...Hillary is burning down the Democratic party to get the nomination...Even if she does win, she'll look around and realize only her house is left standing.

I'm officially a Democrat for John McCain if Hillary wins...I'll vote Obama if he wins, otherwise I want no part of Hillary's idiotic tactics she's pulling out. To be completely honest, I'm just so friggin angry that America is so STUPID to fall for the same shit over and over. Hillary pulls out fear mongering ad one day before the election...Oooh we're shaking, better vote for her, she knows what she's doing. Yeah, she's MUD SLINGING...at the end of the day, what friggin experience does she have...She was wearing the pants when Bill was President...that doesn't mean she knows how to be the President anymore than I do!

I'm a registered Democrat but vote independently. Only the Democrats would offer up canidates like Obama Sin Laden and Clinton. The race for the White House would be a slam dunk for the Dems if they had a decent canidate.

    Im writing in Ron Paul.

Being the conservative I am, I cannot vote for Obama or McCain in good conscious.

Before you write in Paul, which wouldn't be a bad vote, check out the Libertarian and Constitution parties and who they nominate.

If you vote for Paul or the Libertarian or Constitution Party, it would be a meaningless protest vote. Even though liberal Maryland voters would most likely follow the other sheep to vote for Obama, lightning does occasionally strike. Remember that Sauerbray lost at the 11th hour when Baltimore headstones somehow pulled the levers. And Ehrlich did win, just 5 years ago.

How would you like to see Obama win the national election by the margin of Maryland's electoral votes, after winning Maryland by a mere handful of votes? Your protest vote could lead to banning of the Pledge of Allegiance, doubling the highest tax bracket rate and capital gains, and filling the Cabinet and Federal judiciary with whacko liberals appointed by Mrs. Obama.

Think about it: McCain is not a true conservative, but he's the only candidate available to prevent this country from falling under Moslem rule.

I dunno, this may be the year where enough people don't like either candidates that a groundswell can occurr to get a third party 5% of the popular vote needed to get equal campaign financing next go 'round. If that concept can at least be spread well enough, i think enough peopel might buy into it. How many elections has it been since we WEREN'T voting for the lesser fo two evils.

Good point! Answer is: Reagan-Mondale 1984 (although Bob Dole in 1996 was a good person).

I still cannot envision a 3rd Party ever winning a state's electors in my lifetime.

Im as conservative as they come, but that has to be the most rediculous and hate-filled statement I have seen in my lifetime.

First of all, if you're going to tell lies about the guy at least spell the religion right -- Muslim. Second, the dude has 2,000 other reasons to not vote for him yet you pull the tired liberal tactic of using hate-speech to bring the man down.

How about him raising taxes? Or wanting universal heath care (aka socialism)? Or the Kyoto treaty?

It's words like this that have people running from the GOP in droves.

And by the way, NO vote is ever a throw-away or a protest vote. Read the Federalist Papers. The People are supposed to vote their conscious and NOT some party affiliation.

If the GOP doesnt want to prop up a true conservative, then they must pay the price for pandering to the left.
