I am wondering if he has blown it out of the gate with the spiraling border crisis.

I'm echoing sentiments of the Bezos post which published an editorial I believe stating he is risking loss of the Democratic majority if he mishandles it.

It has already been mishandled. The surge is a result of his rhetoric, the promises he made, and the policies hes putting in place.

If there is a chance he had a coherent plan to pivot to to deal with all of these people in a way that was good for the United States and her people, that might be one thing. But it still doesn't abrogate him of being responsible for the surge to begin with. Administering CPR to save a guy you ran over is necessary, but hardly sufficient.

And it's only going to get worse for him because he clearly has no knowledge of how to deal with these sort of issues.

He was inaugurated a little over 2 months ago. Does anyone harbor any hope that things will suddenly get better with his ridiculously unworkable ideas? Even the Biden supporters on this site were lukewarm at best and admitted that he wasn't great, but simply was a better alternative to Trump. We are seeing the result of that attitude.

I'd say America is going to get what she deserves in the next couple years, but in this unique election, I'm not sure America actually chose this guy to be president.

It is a fairly obvious and spectacular failure or crisis created by Biden.

He has made some lame flailing attempts to blame his predecessor but I think this is really a "Oh yeah, these guys completely suck at this" type of moment for all the people that voted for him or had others vote for him for them (whether they know they voted or not).

Create a crisis to do things you wouldn't normally be able to do.

Do those things and disregard all evidence that it didn't work and label everyone who disagrees with you an "_____ist"

Now they say, “create the crisis to push through our agenda “

This is the true manipulated crisis. Under Trump we had millions of unfilled jobs and wages were moving upwards and the first thing Sleepy does is open the floodgates creating a glut of labor which will stagnate wages. Most definitely a bipartisan thing when you look at the farmworkers amnesty bill that's on the docket and you gotta be blind if you can't see these go hand in hand. The govt is bought and paid for.

It can be a big problem if Republicans can tie unlawful immigration to Covid. Polls show that Democrats are more worried than Republicans about Covid.

Illegal Immigration + Covid = Angry Republicans with Angry Democrats. That formula is bad news for deteriorating man who was mediocre at his best.

Let's flood the market with labor. Now that everyone is here, pay them an amount higher than would be paid if they weren't here.
