I'm always leery of the "he was so good before his injury" player.

Dylan Moses says he was not fully recovered from knee injury; considered quitting football :

" Moses also said he considered quitting football but was motivated by his teammates and family to continue playing.

A preseason All-American in 2019, Moses tore his ACL during an August 2019 practice and missed the entire season. He returned to practice this August but acknowledged that he had a “mental block” that coach Nick Saban brought up when he noticed Moses was not performing at his usual level. "

He's 31 years old, not likely to be ascendant.

He still lead their defense in tackles last year “playing through injury” if he’s there as a comp pick at the end of the third I think he’s worth the risk. Have to take chances every now and then or you skip over a Myles Jack, Jaylon Smith type player. Which Moses could be. Would be easy special team contributor and like Queen is a good blitzer from the middle.

They just spent a 1st and a 3rd at ILB... that's a massive draft capital dump at one position, especially when they already had a very good role player in Fort for dirt cheap

    Hopefully he's brought back

Good. Big fan of Fort and what he means to this defense.
Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.
