I have first hand experience with Taiwan (wife), the US is miles better in edu and healthcare.

A lot of metrics do not at all tell the whole story.

I have also spent time in a hospital in Taiwan. The wait time is really bad. I waited 9 hours to get 5 stitches.


Being government run doesn’t mean well run. I do know that.


My point is that governments running education and healthcare doesn’t mean they are socialist governments.

How about looking at the Nazi Parties actions:
Jailed/killed socialists & communists.
Didn’t redistribute wealth to everyone, just gave it to the elites.
Paid wealthy factory owners money to run their factories.

These are actions of people who aren’t socialists/left wingers.

Visited a friends family in Yilan (East of Taipei) & also went to Taipei. I wasn’t a tourist, we were looking at locations for a tech team to be located. I had a motorcycle accident while visiting the friends family. Hong Kong & Singapore were also on the list.

Lol there's are reason why outwardly racist groups like the kkk always align themselves with republicans/conservatism. Racism is a prominent and important feature of Capitalism as we know it.

Capitalism or "free trade" requires a subservient/powerless class in order for it to thrive. It also requires a bailout of the upper class every 8 - 10 years or so. It's why slavery was needed. As well as red lining etc....this is why conservatives also reject every living thing that could help the working class regardless of race.

I also see you don't believe jobs or having more of your own money, your individualism or choices matter in the least. All that free shit doesn't help the working man. Providing oppurtunities aka jobs do this.

UBI......creates laziness. Why work? They might take away your UBI or slash it plus you either paying yourself or taking somebody elses money.
Minimum Wage..... Other prices will spiral. Be less employment/less hours. Some small businesses wont be able to pay that money but hey Walmart and the big chain restaurants will supply you. The rich are the ones that can afford the minimum wage but hey you want it. Alabama should pay 15.00 just like California. bandc says thats the way it should be.
Health.....You need that surgery? Well the govt will decide that for you. You must just love that public education. Choice of teachers, subjects, niiiice. Keep your doctor. Keep your plan. The rich will have their plans tho so its all good.
Unions...........I dont have a problem really with private unions but you should also be able to negotiate for yourself aka right to work. Public unions I'm against cuz hey they negotiating against us their employer. Teachers unions are holding us over a barrel right now with their stipulations on returning to the job.'
Pandemic bailouts.....Why you even including this. There have been bailouts to tax payers and small business and its been bipartisan.
