As someone with titanium throughout my neck going heavy at older ages is a big risk. I can't max out because its too dangerous, but I m back in good shape and huge using just a bowflex. I wouldn't have believed it before I tried it.

Those are good numbers at 160 at any age

I’m currently doing body weight exercises like push ups, pulls ups, squats, Turkish getups, and yoga.

Next week I’m starting jujitsu and kick boxing.
Loved jujitsu. Terrific to balance mixed with kickboxing or another striking style of martial arts

I didn't know that you had a herniated disc. And at 6'7", deads are tough on healthy people.

I do deads, but I go for reps and not weight on them. I used to go for weight when I was playing college ball.

A good 12 oz to 8 oz to 4oz reps repeated at least 10 times with in between Michael Jackson moonwalks to the fridge is the best workout evah.

I used to do that, but kept pulling my hamstrings. Now I stay in the 3 - 6 rep range.

You know, we actually bought ml chalk at one point, but didn't use it much because my kids thought it looked fun and stole it. Lol.

Just had the second class last night. Actually did some grappling.

First guy was about 25, 5'10' 220 played nose tackle and high school and he had tree trunks for thighs. Damn he was tough.

2nd was a chick about 110lbs. Obviously at almost double her weight it was very tough BUT she did get to guard once (with me at about 90-95%)

Rolled a bit more and all I have to say is an hour of that and an hour of kickboxing, that's a heck of a workout.
