Ted Cruz is a POS that defines the word hypocrisy. However, this is just something that presents bad optics. It does make you wonder though - if in his mind (and most of y'alls) he did nothing wrong then why pull the about face and return home?

Water supply is a big BIG issue.

It’s a once in 30 year event that they have planned for. That’s a big failing of all those involved. Energy storage or alternate sourcing of power (connecting to the grid).

Cruz isn’t one of the people involved. He has no way of fixing anything. He should be in Cancun with his family. Not using up the little power and water that is available.

Not like he'd be out there fixing the water pipes anyways

Until a good way into the 20th century.. it was all this country had... And it did us just fine.

To be fair, the government did build canals and such prior to that, and it was for the same reason as the roads. Not to our benefit, but to facilitate trade.
