  1. OBJ Trade offers

I know there's another OBJ post but wanted to create this one on rumored offers.

This is what I saw today.

"According to Chargers media Fernando Ramirez, the Chargers are rumored to offer their 13th pick and Mike Williams for OBJ when the time comes. The Chargers priority in the draft is a LT"

Um yeah if these are the type of offers the Ravens are going to get for OBJ then he's a goner.

I can't imagine any scenario in which the Ravens wouldn't immediately accept that offer. But as I've been saying I'll believe we get that kind of draft compensation when it's actually a done deal. I would be happy to be wrong here.

I don't see that on his timeline. And literally no one outside of this board refers to Brown as OBJ

    Re: OBJ Trade offers

The Ravens get another pick from the Chargers for taking on Mike Williams' contract? That's -11.5m against the Ravens cap (15m Williams minus OBJ's 3.5)
    Thanks but no, thanks.

The Ravens would have to give Mike Williams a contract extension immediately to make this trade work because his cap hit is way too large.

So this is a hypothetical and doesn't look to be an actual rumor.

With that being said, here’s a look at some potential trade ideas:

    Chargers get:

    Orlando Brown Jr.

    Ravens 2021 2nd Round Pick (58)

    Ravens get:

    Mike Williams

    Chargers 2021 1st Round Pick (13)

    Chargers 2021 4th Round Pick (108)

I was going to say, if that's out there I would think the deal would be done.

Okay first let me say that I am an Orlando fan. Loved him in the draft when almost no one did. Loved when they selected him.

But, if this rumor is true, Decosta had better accept the trade the moment the clock strikes open season on trades because that is great value considering where he was drafted and what the Ravens get in return.

Williams has never lived up to his draft status but he has the size and talent massively lacking from this WR group.

    Re: OBJ Trade offers

That would be a good deal for the Chargers if they were looking to dump salary but they'd be better off dealing that #13 pick back into the mid 20's and picking up an extra 2 and 3 before pulling the trigger on it
