    Re: 2nd Impeachment Trial

Wow. Interesting revelation in today’s impeachment. So. Now, questioning an election result is an impeachable offense.

Impeachment trials for every Democrat should start soon

    Update #1:

The Senate voted to allow witnesses, mostly along party lines, with the Dems leading the way.

Trump's team created a list of witnesses they were going to call.

The Dems decided they didn't really want witnesses, and ixnayed that plan.

    Fucking farce.

    Update #2:

Trump was acquitted by the Senate.

Seven Republicans voted to convict. Presumably seven Republicans who have no interest in holding office anymore.

It’s the typical squishy RINO’s...Collins, Romney, Sasse, Murkowski, etc.

    Of course.

They effectively ended their career in the GOP.

More like 7 Republicans who had enough integrity and moral clarity to choose our democracy over their political careers.

I've never voted for a Democrat for President, US House, US Senate, or Maryland Governor. Today I switched my party affiliation to Democrat. I can hardly stand the Democratic party, but I'd rather side with a party I disagree with on policy than one that lacks the moral clarity to convict a President who undermines election results and the peaceful transition of power. Put another way: I'd rather live in a democracy with policies I disagree with than a "shithole country."

We hear that this impeachment trial was all about stopping Trump from running again. If we are to believe Biden won the election fair and square, why are the Democrats so "afraid" of Trump running again? It doesn't pass the smell test. To be honest, myself, I don't want him running again, but he should have that right.

Because they know they stole the election. Hell, they'll tell you all about it, so long as you allow them some semantic flexibility.

These cocksuckers should spend more time worried about their necks, than their next elections.
