2nd Impeachment Trial

So this farce is underway. Surprised nobody has made a thread about it.

I imagine nobody on this board will have the courage to defend this travesty, as nobody has even had the courage to defend a single action of Joe Biden's, despite telling us for years how critical it was he was elected.

I know I'm not a high-falutin lawyer with a sweet DC gig, so I'm a deplorable piece of shit who doesn't have the right to have an opinion on anything but I'm confused:

1) How do you impeach a man from an office he no longer occupies?

2) If it's an impeachment trial, where is John Roberts, as the Constitution is crystal clear that only the Chief Justice can oversee an impeachment trial?

Any thoughts?

Many, myself included, are not paying that much attention to it.

It's kind of embarrassing no matter what angle you view it from.

This is the only thing preventing a complete implosion of content on networs like MSDNC and CNN.

I had it on for a few minutes, until I saw the demoncrats use a propaganda video to try to make it seem like Trump sent rioters to the Capitol.

Those idiots even showed people getting in and flash backed to him STILL speaking.

I didn’t even know it was going on. The entire process is reminiscent of a banana republic. The dems were so worried about how other countries viewed us while trump president. Now the left is the laughing stock of the world.

Can you kick a president out of office after they left office?
Can we hold a trial and instead of an impartial judge, let’s have the prosecutor act as the judge
Hmm. Can we even do this? Let’s not take a chance of the Supreme Court determining if this is constitutional, let’s just make that decision.

Daily press briefings at the White House have to be press screened questions.

By the way, has Biden held a press conference yet?

I'm not watching. It's hard to watch our hard-earned tax dollars being thrown out the window for what is nothing more than a childish tantrum by Democrats. After 10 years Democrats own the White House, The House and Senate and this is what they give the American people. To say it's shameful is putting it mildly.
