Exactly. I year for $1M is closer to his true value. (Still too high in my opinion) He was a negative for Cincinnati last year. His efficiency stats were horrible. They'd have been much better off if his targets were given to practically anyone else.

Yep, 1 million base, with up to 5 with incentives.

He was basically 2020 Dez Bryant in larger volume. I agree I have no interest in him

Houston keep cleaning house. Now it's Duke Johnson and Nick Martin.

    https://www.nfl.com/news/texans-rele...er-two-seasons

OTC has them at $16.15 under the cap now. They can keep going if they want to tank. Look at these potential savings.

    12.0 Brandin Cooks
    8.3 Bradley Roby
    6.4 David Johnson
    6.4 Benardrick McKinney
    3.2 Brandon Dunn
    3.0 Zach Fulton
    2.3 Darren Fells

Of course, the tank job will not be complete without the Watson trade.

Nick Martin might be interesting. He’s a decent starting center. His brother is Zack Martin of the Cowboys.

Glad you mentioned him because I don't want any more "Dez-like" signings... Bc

He is a better center than we have had for a while. Surprised we weren’t interested in a trade and extend type deal.... we must have someone else in mind.

How many balls did Watson have to chase down behind him?

Martin cost them games with his bad snaps. There’s a meme of Watson on the bench with head in hands due to Martin’s snaps. No thanks

I'm also a no on Martin.

He's still a decent (not great) pass blocker, but he's not strong in the run game...it's not the only reason I wouldn't want him, but in my opinion, he's just not a good fit, schematically.
