If you are a fringe roster guy and not showing up for voluntary workouts good luck with that. Some of these guys clearly don't want it as much as past NFL players.

Unless you have a workout bonus players may not want to cross their union. It only hurts the fringe guys who could really help themselves.

The union is using covid as the excuse. Problem is if you don't want to workout at the team facility because of it what makes them think the local gym is any safer.

Players are actually encouraging the guys with workout bonuses to show up. They're not crossing some kind of union line

That's good. I'm not a fan of crossing picket lines.

If that's the case, they should encourage rookies and UDFAs to show up too.

So do I have this straight? They don’t wanna return for workouts because it is not safe...unless you are a player being paid to work out, and then it is safe to return.

You clearly see how the entire team congregating from all across the country is different from small groups of players getting together at the facility right?
