But anyways it is well beyond one player. The Ravens have shown character is at least a consideration the Seahawks don't care about character at all. The Ravens showed character was a consideration after they were burned in supporting Ray Rice. That was a while ago and the Ravens have stuck with using character as a factor in whom they sign.

The Seahawks think that they are getting bargains by signing guys with more limited options. When you look at the guys the Patriots have brought in, and seem to always release, or the Browns claiming Kareem Hunt and then extending him or the Cowboys who had Aldon Smith last year along with many other players, it's clear that the Seahawks aren't alone in this philosophy. As long as teams think they are getting a discount on a player there will always be some team interested. One day it could be the Ravens again once enough time has passed and possibly ownership has changed

Very different. What Donte Stallworth did was a mistake. It was a horrible, terrible mistake that deserved punishment. It was a mistake made through negligent action. But it was a mistake nonetheless.

That's very different from repeatedly and intentionally inflicting violence on other people.
