Re: Official 2021 Off-Season News/Rumors Thread
I heard that on the Pat McAfee show. I also heard John Clayton who now covers the Seahawks on Wednesday say that if the Seahawks were to trade Wilson they would have to make 4 or 5 other moves because of the cap hit. Clayton thought this could happen next year but not in 2021.

Re: Official 2021 Off-Season News/Rumors Thread
I just can't see them trading Wilson. He's one of the best QB's in the NFL, which is the hardest position to get right. He's a great ambassador in the community and he's an ideal franchise player.
I feel like that would be a really bad business decision to get rid of Wilson.Disclaimer: The content posted is of my own opinion.

Re: Official 2021 Off-Season News/Rumors Thread
It would but they might just do it. Carroll doesn't really have to answer to anyone. He wants to run the ball and play defense and he doesn't want his QB dictating that they become a passing team so he might be tempted by a good offer.
It's stupid. Seattle would be better getting rid of Carroll and keeping Wilson.

Re: Official 2021 Off-Season News/Rumors Thread
Chargers trying to trade (or will cut) RG Trai Turner.
I definitely would not trade for him (in last year of contract...due $11.5 Million), but a five-time Pro Bowl RG who is 27 years old is of interest, even after he missed part of the season with an injury last year.

Re: Official 2021 Off-Season Thread
That's a good point. It probably does. I think that's a big reason a trade hasn't happened. LT needy teams want to let the cuts play out and see who becomes available. There's really no rush for a team to pull the trigger on OBJ right now, if they can fill the hole without surrendering draft capital, they should do it.
The good news is Solder, Reiff, Trent Williams are all on the back 9 of their careers. So a team looking for a long term solution might still be willing to pay up to get Orlando instead of a stop-gap
