Just wonder if that could be their way out of not drafting a WR early.Makes Lamar happy and appeases the fans.Add AB, Houston and Hooker after May 3rd. Draft Phillips/Oweh or Ojulari with their pick at #27 and Dickerson,Humphrey,Meinerz or Davis at #58?

The "beating" is not based on us Joe Schmoes though BC...but his peers. And Clowney actually made $12 million from the Titans last year and can max out at $10 mill this year. So you are right, $22 million does not suck.

In that same time frame, Matt Judon, yes that one, will make $35 million, based on his $16 from last year and his $18 mill signing bonus + $1 mill salary from the Pats this year.

Granted, Clowney has been in the league 2 years longer and was a #1 overall pick, so his career earnings to date are $63 million. Not fucking bad at all considering his actual availability and production throughout his career.
