I agree with you but I think there’s a reason for it that we aren’t hearing. As I mentioned in another thread. The short quick passes beat the run blitz/zone defense they were using. The Ravens coaching with Lamar is rather pompous. They are basically saying we are going to run the ball and you can’t stop us. The good teams have found a way to do that. The Bills tried a similar approach against Mahomes on a few plays that I watched. He made them look like a high school defense.

Watching Reid/Mahomes pick apart a defense is just ridiculous. The Bills were determined to not get beat deep. Mahomes only attempted 1 pass over 20 yards which wasn't completed, but he absolutely shredded them on short/medium passes.

The Ravens don't adjust. They want to run the ball, and they can't adjust when a team figures out how to stop/slow down the run game.

I agree ...Mahomes , Allen, Watson, Wilson are QBs that can run the ball. Lamar is a running QB and a mediocre passer

They ran that lateral play at their own GOAL LINE. After having already shown it to the Buffalo D.

That wasn't just risky, it was reckless and stupid in that scenario.

I guess you were okay with it.

Buffalo wasn't able to account for all of the talent Mahomes had at his disposal (nobody really has). There is a lot of it. And they play with precision. We would have made it a game because we can stop the run, but they would have used Kelce in the short to intermediate middle like last night and we always struggle with that. KC is just operating at a whole different level.

Lamar is who he is - and Harbaugh will keep him that way as long as he is the head coach for the Baltimore Ravens. Bo Schembechler Jr doesn't know how to be anything else

Was this really a surprise? The Ravens are not on the Chiefs level in any area of their offense outside of their RBs...coaching, QB, skill players. As much as this fan base wants them to be comparable there is no comparison between Mahomes and Lamar. Hill and Kelce are both significantly better players than literally any player we have offensively. Likewise the gap between Reid/Eric B. and Harbaugh/Roman is about as wide as the Atlantic.

Scoring 3 is always a surprise for a team that was 7th in points scored this year. The Ravens with almost all their starters out scored 14 on the road against the Steelers. They had only 1 other regular season game under 20 points all year. I don't even remember the Ravens having a half without scoring at least 7. 3 is a surprise and not acceptable.

The most depressing thing about it to me is that Biscotti goes along with it. They'll never have more than a punchers chance against the likes of KC under Harbaugh and Roman with their archaic offensive schemes and Biscotti is OK with it.

KC OL also held up pretty well, our OL has been awful in virtually every playoff game we've had in the last 3 years...it's very alarming. Both this years games and the San Diego game in particular were just alarmingly awful.
Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

Their OL was ok but Mahomes’ feel in the pocket is unreal and he always knows where his outlet is. Just compare that with Allen who would panick and run 29 yards backwards when pressured.

Kansas City is in prime dynasty mode. No one can stop them. They've lost 1 game w/ Mahomes starting since Nov. 2019.
