    Interesting Trade Scenario

Lions send Stafford and a 2nd round 2021 pick and a 2nd round 2022 pick to Houston for Deshaun Watson.

    Poor Watson. More losing seasons.

    Re: Interesting Trade Scenario

Considering all the rumors that teams are willing to offer multiple 1st round picks for Watson I can't see that being nearly enough for the Texans

I like the concept of Dak (tagged) plus a first for Watson...

I doubt Watson would accept that trade.
Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

Reports are saying his preferred landing spot is the Jets.

That speaks for itself to how much he actually cares about winning.

The Jets have a new coach who is a real favorite with NFL players. Right or wrong there are players who want to play for Saleh and believe he will turn the Jets around. I can understand why a player would want to be part of that. I bet a lot of free agents this year are going to want to go to the Jets. This might only last a year but for 2021 that will be a popular team.

Does he have a no-trade clause?

Winning and having a coach people want to play for are two different things.

There are those type of coaches throughout the NFL and the Jets have one of the worst rosters in the entire league.

He does. So he controls the destination
