    Yes! Thank you.

Rob Ryan as the LB Coach, I can roll with. As long as that's where he stays, I have no issue with this hire.

It really is amusing. Those awful 'taches.

It was nice of Buddy to dress up as the boys idol, Col. Sanders, for the occassion.

The notion of a Ryan remaining in his lane is not easy to embrace.

I'm not even sure which brother is which. I think Rex is on the right and Rob on the left, but it's just a guess.

This is where I'm at! The Ryan's aren't known for staying in their lane!

And it's not like their temper ever gets the best of them.

With Wink! Wink was Defensive Ends coach.

Rex & Wink (but not Harbs) just missed Jerry Rosburg, who was on that same staff 1992-95. Coached secondary, LBs, and spec teams.

Great additions to the defensive coaching staff. Love that both Rob and Anthony have DC experience. This only bodes well for the players.

Pretty sure that Wink is known as the 3rd Ryan twin/brother so he is super tight with both Rex and Rob. I actually would not mind having Rex in the building too just for ideas as a Defensive Assistant Coach. Maybe the lure of being with Wink and his twin brother is enough to bring him back into the fold. Would also only be a good thing for Lamar and the offense's development.

Look back at 2000 and who was on our coaching staff:

    DC - Marvin Lewis
    DL - Rex Ryan
    LB - Jack Del Rio
    Defensive Assistant/DL - Mike Smith

In 2012 was not as strong but we had these coaches:

    DC - Dean Pees
    DL - Clarence Brooks RIP
    ILB - Wink
    DB - Teryl Austin

Elite coaching staffs can make a big difference.

Now Harbs and EDC need to get working on the O staff ...

Yeah discipline has never been that families focus. My dad texted me about this and my reply was, "Won't be long until someone tosses a flag into the stands or has malice in their hearts!"

    Re: Rob Ryan

I'm digging this hire, thinking this was more of a Wink choice than a Harbaugh choice (though he obviously approved it)... Wink and the Ryans go back

I like having guys like the Ryans on the coaching staff, the young cats Queen/Harrison are going to play their asses off for him, he's a no-bullshit type A personality kinda coach which is always who I enjoyed playing for the most back in my football days

Do be warned though, if Wink gets a HC job next year he's taking Ryan with him, might be a one year stay here for Rob
