Thread: Rob Ryan

I guess Wink's plan next season to get more aggressive and dumber. So uh, we'll see how that works.

    Well it's still Winks D

I do remember the Raiders having a pretty good defense in 2006 though.

I'll take that suit, I love white suits. Well, that one won't work, too short for me.

You can keep the porn staches. Actually calling them porn staches is an insult to porn staches.

However with that came the great divide, the undisciplined team and all the theatrics. Also even though I love Rex, I've never forgiven him for calling that timeout at the end of the Patriot's game when they were undefeated.
Rex Ryan was in Baltimore for a long time.

Not a pissing contest. Wickedsolo brought up a Harbs not having an issue with the Ryans. If you recall, there was a lot of noise when Rex left about it being an acrimonious breakup. Just pointing out that that’s not the case.

You're correct sir. He was here nine years. He started his NFL coaching career here. I can still remember him beating up his neighbor while he was the defensive line coach. Love the passion the Ryan's have, but unfortunately it comes with a price.

Very charismatic and is still very pro ravens. Always really homerish about the Ravens on TV.

Wink has a little bit of that in him as does Rob Ryan. Rob is unfortunate not as talented as Wink or Rex.

    Re: Rob Ryan

This is a hire for a position coach. Not a DC or assistant HC or anything senior. Can Rob Ryan coach up and develop the young guys at the position? Can he work with the DC and the other coaches? Those both sound like a yes so what's the issue?

Ryan will be worth his whole salary if he can teach Queen how to shed a block

Wink at the moment is infallible. Whatever he wants to do with the defense is fine by me.
