Rd 1 - get a big buy. First priority is OL, it's a great spot to draft OL especially IOL. Barring that, DL/EDGE.

Rd 2 - would strongly consider trading down here for two 3rds, similar to what EDC did in 2019. OL is deep so Ravens can draft from positional scarcity (read: DL) and let a guy fall to them.

Rd 3 - looking again at IOL, where someone may easily fall to a value position. Need another young DL. Would explore other positions of need, namely WR, TE and S.

Day 3 - by this point you just want the team to get guys that can play. They've got a great history in Rds 4-6 so I'm not worried.

I'm addressing two spots in free agency: WR and EDGE.
    - WR from outside the organization, and perhaps bringing back Willie Snead.
    - EDGE resigning at least two of their five free agents (Judon, Bowser, Ngakoue, McPhee, Ward), preferably three.

I personally bring back Judon and Bowser.

I’d do what I’ve been saying trade Orlando Brown for a 1st and 3rd (Half of what Tunsil was traded for to the Redskins). That nets #19 and #83 and I think is a good deal.

Here what I do with the picks,

I trade the #19 to the Jets for #23 and #97.

    So we them have

#23 Terrance Marshall JR WR LSU
    #28 Alex Leatherwood RT Alabama
    #60 Landon Dickerson C Alabama
#83 Friermuth TE Penn State or Charlie Kolar Iowa State TE
    #97 Richard LaCounte FS Georgia
    #123 Aaron Robinson CB UCF

    #155
    #186

Then try to sign one of Golladay/Robinson/Godwin.

I think it is less development and more that they are just crappy at picking wr. A big part of that is they have picked so few before the 5th round the % of stumbling into one has not been great. For years everyone fell in love with a late round draft pick that was having a great training camp.

IF the Ravens are going to have success last years draft picks and this year are going to have to be successful. Ravens are bumping up against the cap and unless they have guys playing well under rookie contracts this team is going to take a step back. The first round pick this year is going to have to step in and be a good starter. I am guessing it will either be OLB or IOL. It is really hard to get a rookie wr to have an immediate impact.

We keep saying we've (almost) never developed a WR. Isn't that Culley's job? Is he failing at his job or are our WRs totally hopeless?
Not much really matters, and the rest doesn't matter at all.

may be but he sure gets loves from some solid analysts. He's a lower round guy which is why I am targeting a few like him. Early rounds probably Oline, edge.

If we traded back to the early 2nd I doubt any team would throw in another 2nd round pick to boot... Bc

Edit : perhaps we could recoup the 3rd round draft choice we're missing (?)

Offensive line, best player available on defense, wide receiver.

In no particular order really just depending on who is available. An investment on defense is never wasted...... Offensive line is obvious.

Other than bringing back Judon I like the rest of what you are proposing along with your draft choices.

If we were to get Friermuth with the 83rd pick, sign me up. He is someone I was hopefully would be there if we traded back to the beginning of the 2nd. I think he is prefect for our offense and the idea of him, Andrews and Boyle would be a matchup nightmare for other team defenses.

Would be quite happy adding him as early as the second round, 83 would be a steal.
