I’m guessing Waddle is probably not playing to give his leg more time.

Thank you, c'man. I looked back in the thread and it was from a proposed trade by Roll Tide :
" I’d do what I’ve been saying trade Orlando Brown for a 1st and 3rd (Half of what Tunsil was traded for to the Redskins). That nets #19 and #83 and I think is a good deal. "

Re: 2021 Ravens Draft Discussion Board

As much as we feel they need a WR, where they pick in the first, the better choice is shaping up to be iOL or Edge.

Because there appears to be better value at those positions then, or because they are bigger needs or because they are more important positions?
    I think it’s 3/3, but...

In the NFL BPA is really the best approach unless you are in need of a QB.

Rashod bateman is probably the best wr we have a chance at drafting in our position

I agree...I don't really see an impact WR being there in the late 20's.

A guy like Olujari or Basham up front or an OL like Davis or Leatherwood probably would be best use of the pick unless you want to trade down. Leatherwood probably can be a guy who you can move inside for a year to upgrade the interior and then move to RT when Zues Jr probably leaves after next year.

I like guys like Bateman, R Moore, Toney, Marshall, Brown, Olave a good deal, but I don't see any of them as first rounders or better than some of the edge/OL options that are likely to be there.

Frankly, I think this is a year where we trade back to try and get a 3rd back for the one we traded away for Yannick.
Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

Jets just drafted a LT last year that they really like.

They aren't trading a mid first and 3rd for a guy to play RT.
