I think the most important thing the Ravens can do is self scout this off-season. There are so many perspectives on this offense the Ravens need to sit down and figure it out. How much longer do we have to live with is it the OC, can the QB throw, lack of weapons, shit Oline?

If SSSr thinks it a pre school offense then I am going to take his word. Dude didn’t have a borderline HOF career not understanding what a passing game should and needs to look like.

Sharpe is a HOFer and I’m pretty certain he’s caught some passes from a good QB that he knows can play or can’t play the QB position.

Hollywood is Lamar’s best friend and has said that this offense need to balance out.

Snead is a good teammate and he basically said Lamar had to get better in areas to elevate his game.

Harbaugh needs to sit down and start self scouting and figuring this out. What is the problem(s)? How can they be fixed?

Lamar is must see TV and can turn a busted play into a HR like it’s nobody’s business but when it comes playoffs people don’t care about the plays made that you get it’s the plays you miss that stand out when you are going home for the season.

In my unimportant opinion this is a crucial offseason for the Ravens. I don’t want to extend Lamar and save him and Harbs without knowing they are ready to fix the issues and improve going forward.

Uh, huh, it's probably Henry Adams.

Passing problems - mistakes caused Ravens playoff losses. Pass less, not more. Improve the bad oline - benefits both run and pass game.

Bring back Flacco and go 4-5?

The Ravens had better playoff results this year than any Lamar year.

Lamar threw an Interception. If it was a Touchdown, it's a different story.

The Ravens were able to achieve more this year than in a few years despite a bad offensive line.

Improve that offensive line, and everything the Ravens were doing will work a little better. Maybe they keep running, ignore the pass. Reminder, it was a PASS that was intercepted, the one crushing bad play was a PASS.

Lamar is great at running and not great at passing. Good enough at passing? Yes, but not great at this point. 19-3 in his first 2 years, regular season, because he's a great runner.

Lamar also might not be one of those QBs who is great in the playoffs. Lamar was asked if he was nervous. He said something like "No, I'm anxious." Not what you're looking to hear. He didn't seem calm and poised in the playoff game in 2019 and he didn't appear calm and poised in this playoff game.

It was also really windy and somewhat cold. Lamar said that was the coldest game he ever played in. The playoffs are in January. January is cold. If Lamar isn't good in the cold, it's a problem because January is the coldest month and it's also playoff month.

Thumbs down Re: What They're Saying About the Ravens

Funny that after we won our last 5 regular season games in-a-row, the analysts were saying "Nobody wants to play the Ravens in the playoffs." Then we defeat the Titans and the praise was heaped high. Now that we lost to the Bills, they come out of the woodwork to tell us how bad this-or-that is about our team.
Hypothetically, if we had beaten the Bills, those same who have negative criticism now would be kissing LJ's you-know-what... Bc

Stephen A Smith is the worst in the league next to Skip Blayless so no one should ever listen to anything that comes out of his mouth. Neither know sports, they are Howard Stern Shock Jocks thats the extent of their knowledge. Unless they are saying something stupid no one would even listen.

Now, when you have a bunch of former players like Steve Smith, Kurt Warner all saying the exact same thing then you should listen because we are getting an honest assessment of what continues to happen.

Is it all Lamars fault? No, but some obviously is.

Majority of it is falling on this mickey Mouse offense passing scheme put in place by a sub par coaching staff and then on lack of talent at some other key positions Oline, WR etc...

Re: What They're Saying About the Ravens

    every offense needs splash plays
Ravens relying on Lamar breaking runs (like @ Tennessee last week)
    downfield passing is iffy.

I don't know enough about the complexities of the game to really understand it but the passing does seem non-achieving.
"Nothing stops these Baltimore Ravens. Beat them, injure them, shove them to the bottom of the standings, drag them into a hostile environment and mount a big lead, and they just keep trudging forward like nothing fazes them." (Bleacher Report)

While I understand the point here and to a degree agree with what you’re saying. But wouldn’t you agree that some changes are needed to be made for this team to stop with the subpar performance in big games?

Sports media on major outlets like ESPN and FS1 is all hot takes, all the time now with little room for nuanced and thoughtful analysis.
