Re: DJ Moore Trade
The Hopkins trade was exception not rule, and you can’t legislate for every team being run by Bill O’Brien. It’s trades like that one that are the reason currently NO teams are being run by him!
As for Michael Thomas, yes the Saints are up against it on the cap but a rift with Drew Brees seems to be the main issue he’s been so unproductive this year when he’s played and Brees is likely hanging them up after the season so that won’t be a factor.

Re: DJ Moore Trade
+1
But we obviously cant get it right in the draft - the 28th pick is pretty low so I was thinking about REASONABLE trade targets (DJ Moore aint it)
1) Micheal Thomas - If you believe the media NO seems to be souring on his act, we Brees retiring after this year maybe Payton would be willing to move him out of the conference for a 1st and some change
2) Julio Jones - ATL has already said they are willing to talk
3) Amari Cooper? - Talented but not a top dog, idk about the finance of a trade but thoughts?
4) DeVante Parker? No indication MIA is looking to move his, but the past staff wasnt too enamored with him

Re: DJ Moore Trade
It would cost NO more to trade Michael Thomas than to keep him. They are in cap hell but getting rid of Thomas makes the problem marginally worse.
As for Julio Jones the situation is similar: trading him it would add to Atlanta's cap hit so again losing him does not help their cap situation.

Re: DJ Moore Trade
Why would you give up draft picks AND pay top dollar for a WR1 (he has only 1 cheap year left on his rookie contract) when you can simply pay top dollar for a WR1 in Free Agency?
The Ravens need every draft pick they have, some very expensive extensions coming up in the next 2 years and they won't be able to keep everyone.

Re: DJ Moore Trade
If we are talking trade I like Adam Theilen. There was the rumor they were inquiring mid-season with the Ngakoue move and there is a working relationship there between the organizations. He's not cost prohibitive, makes tough catches, a TD machine, and would definitely make the team better. Br a pretty good pair with Brown imo.
