    This. 100%. This.

Neither, but I’d like to run Lamar into the ground for a year and trade him, Roman can leave now

So, after Lamar leaves in Free Agency, are you giving the new QB to Harbaugh or is he gone as well by then in your scenario?

The fact that he sucks? 266 yards receiving man come on. Blame who you want but the guy has no place in this offense

Then cut every receiver then because they also didn't produce. Good luck trying to recruit an elite receiver to come play in an offense where the route concepts aren't used correctly while also being a low volume passing offense.

    Which one gives more wins?

I'll take the one with the wins.

I don't think that "Lamar to reach his ceiling as a passer" really matters that much to me, if it doesn't mean more wins.

Did Greg Roman force Lamar to throw that INT? No.

How about we keep GRo and just install a "pass specialist" or some additional OC-type coach that can help with the passing scheme. I just don't see how you can get rid of GRo's running scheme. The passing scheme can be helped with more brain trust.

I don't know why he left SF or Buffalo. The Niners got much worse after he left and the Bills didn't get better.

Roman, still, has not had a losing season as an offensive coordinator.

That makes sense. The Ravens, when they run a ton, win, typically, but it can hurt to have a better pass game.

But Roman is the best at running QB into the ground and getting lots of wins. If the plan is to run Lamar into the ground, you'll get the most wins out of Roman by doing that.

    Punish success?

    Interesting strategy.

They hadn't won a playoff game since 2014. Not a particularly long time, but there's 3 years of no playoff then 2 years of playoff losses, then this year, with a playoff win.

It's not a "no brainer" to make changes with success.

The Raiders seem to be planning on keeping Derek Carr as the starting QB. 1 winning season in 7 years. No brainer is to get rid of that guy.

Roman + Lamar, playoffs all 3 years, this year, a playoff win.

It's kinda crazy that some people want Lamar to do more of the thing - passing - that causes the Ravens to lose, to make the thing that the Ravens are great at, running, less of a central focus.

The purpose of the Ravens is not to develop Lamar as a passer at the cost of winning.

Yeah, the Buffalo Bills' offense wasn't explosive at all this year, nor did they win a playoff game for the first time in 25 years — let alone make the AFC Championship. Clearly, they got WORSE since Greg Roman left, I guess . . .
