Why Did Republicans Refuse to Wear Masks at Secure Location

The answer to this subject is they are arrogant assholes who were trying to prove some stupid point. That three democrats got covid after republican house members refused to wear provided masks shows a complete lack of human decency on their part. I'd like any conservative to make a valid point of why those republicans were right not to wear a mask in a very crowded indoor setting given covid cases have skyrocketed to new highs.

Maybe this will be an eye opening event. If you don’t want covid, and you think you will get it from someone else, then blame someone else, you shouldn’t leave the house.

All of the mandates and masks and lockdowns have proven to be a miserable failure. Look at California for example. They are 90% brains dead zombies that obey everything the gov says. Lock downs, no gathering, mandatory masks. And yet, the numbers are climbing faster than the hick places that are not as strict with masks and lockdowns.

There is no evidence the masks work. In fact, they are probably prolonging this virus.

Covid would need to present a health risk significantly higher than that of other supposedly airborne illnesses that they were perfectly fine not wearing masks for.

I remain unconvinced the Covid data is reliable enough to draw any conclusion. Example: there's no reason a country with 4 times the population of the U.S. has 1/50th of the cases (China).

Moreover, even if we take the figures at face value, the death rates and the age demographics most affected don't necessitate masks. Mask studies like the recent one from Denmark don't justify masks. Anthony Fauci himself publicly scoffed at the use of masks on 60 Minutes last March, yet we're to believe a major scientific breakthrough on the efficacy of masks occurred since that time. It doesn't add up.

If there was a real public health risk, you wouldn't need to convince half the population that it exists.

I wear a mask, but the one thing that the left has taught us over the last few years is that if you disagree with a law, then just don’t obey it.
