Ravens players call your rep! NFLPA needs to step in
The NFLPA needs to step in and demand the game be played safely or rescheduled.
Brady Quinn is going off on how unsafe the Denver game was today and players injured because of it.
The Ravens game will be exponentially worse. Ken said they only have 48 players and will be unable to be played normally.
Just call your rep and demand the NFLPA examine the increase in the risk of injury if the game is played Tuesday. They work for you, they don't work for the NFL. The only way you get your rights observed is to demand it.
Call now.
If you have any way of contacting a player tell them to call their reps now. Team reps, you aren't doing your job if you don't at least ask about this. Don't endanger yourself or others.
@FilmstudyRavens: We better hope this is the case in terms of spread, but I don't see how the game can be played on Tuesday. The @Ravens effectively can't field a team of 48 that includes anything like the normal number of linemen on either side of the ball. #RavensFlock

If the spread of the virus is contained and there isn't any more risk to exposing more, then this game will get played. Calling the league to whine isn't going to change anything. It's how the rules were set and will be applied to every team.
We did this to ourselves. We deserve what we get from here on out.

I'm not ok with the Ravens losing a draft choice over this. It's a pandemic for gods sake. It's unbelievable that they are actually playing the season at all. Moving all of those bodies all over the country twice a week is really crazy. One hotel employee could sneeze over a suitcase while adjusting his mask and infect the whole team.

The overreaction to the Bat Flu is astounding.

With the greatest respect, I'm not convinced we should refer to COVID19 as "bat flu". It's a serious global pandemic through which many, many people have died.
In terms of an increase in risk to injury, I presume the greatest risk with that is what arguably happened to Joe Burrow? The Bengals offensive line is poor. Has been all year and as a result, Joe Burrow's body has been exposed to more hits than just about any other QB in the league. Presumably the inference about our own team's offensive line is now similar following its devastation by the virus. The team will now have to field an entire line of back ups, replacements and second/third stringers to go up against one of the better defensive lines in the league. Our own, technically less astute line will be completely overpowered risking themselves and the players they are supposed to be protecting to serious harm.

Just forfeit, grab the L and get a better draft pick.

Tell that to Philly Lindsay. What if this game is your only shot in the NFL and it's being played with proper practice? Brady Quinn is an actual player, he knows what it's like to play and he's saying it's not safe.
What if there are multiple injuries and they can't field a proper replacement during the game? What is it's multiple positions?
I haven't played NFL football! I don't know. It is totally fine to call your union reps and find out what other actual players who have their own experts think about the matter.
On top that, what if the covid outbreak isn't over yet? What if the steelers get covid from playing the game and they have an outbreak just like the Ravens?
Are you calling the players who opted out of the season weak and scared too? Lots of O-linemen opted out of the season and Ravens are down to 5 plus one backup. What happens if two get injured during the game because they are all playing out of position? Then what? There's not even big bodied d-linemen to take their place.
It is fine to ask questions about the situation to your reps and find out what is going on and if it's safe. If safe, play. If not, get the NFL to delay the game where likely will be 25 players on the list by the end of the day.
